Seeking to capitalize on what many agree is a rare opportunity to move Charles County's land growth policies away from sprawl development and towards Smart Growth, a collection of Maryland environmental heavyweights made the trek to Waldorf on August 18 to make their pitch for change to citizens and county officials.
